License and Insurance
California law requires all solar and electrical contractors to be licensed by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) and to carry workers' compensation and general liability insurance. This page provides Revolt Services's license and insurance information. You can verify our license at any time at cslb.ca.gov.
CONTRACTOR LICENSE
California Business and Professions Code §§7027, 7029.5, and 7030.5 require licensed contractors to display their license number on all advertising, business cards, contracts, and written communications. Revolt Services displays its CSLB license number on all marketing materials and contracts as required by law.
WORKERS' COMPENSATION INSURANCE
California law requires contractors to carry workers' compensation insurance for all employees. You have the right to request a certificate of workers' compensation insurance before any work begins on your property. Contact us at (916) 461-9961 or [email protected] to request a certificate.
GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE
You have the right to request a certificate of general liability insurance before any work begins on your property. Contact us to request a certificate.

VERIFYING OUR LICENSE
You can verify Revolt Services's CSLB license status, classification, bond status, and insurance information at any time through the CSLB's free online license check tool:
- Online: cslb.ca.gov — Check License
- CSLB Consumer Hotline: 1-800-321-CSLB (1-800-321-2752)
- CSLB address: 9821 Business Park Drive, Sacramento, CA 95827
California law requires you to verify a contractor's license before hiring them. An unlicensed contractor cannot file for permits, cannot enforce a lien on your property for unpaid work, and may not be covered by workers' compensation or liability insurance. Always verify.
