Welcome to Revolt Services, a licensed California solar and electrical contractor. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website revolt-services.com and our residential solar and home battery installation services. By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms.

ELIGIBILITY AND AGE RESTRICTION

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services, submit information through our website, or opt in to receive SMS messages from Revolt Services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may not use our services or provide any personal information to us.

SERVICES

Revolt Services provides residential solar panel installation, home battery storage installation (including Tesla Powerwall 3 and Enphase IQ Battery 5P), SMUD My Energy Optimizer Partner+ rebate enrollment, and related electrical services to homeowners in Sacramento, El Dorado, and Placer counties. CSLB License #[CONFIRM]. All services are performed in accordance with California contractor licensing requirements and applicable local building codes.

SCHEDULING AND CONSULTATIONS

Consultations are scheduled by mutual agreement and are provided free of charge with no obligation. We will confirm all appointments via email or text message if you have opted in to SMS. No installation work begins until a written contract is signed by both parties. Customers are responsible for providing access to the service area at the scheduled time.

PRICING AND QUOTES

Quotes are provided based on the information you provide about your home, electricity usage, roof, and utility. Final pricing may be adjusted if actual conditions differ materially from the information provided. Incentive amounts (including SMUD rebates, utility credits, and any applicable financing terms) are estimates based on current program rules and may change. A written contract is required before any work begins. Payment terms are specified in the written contract.

RIGHT TO CANCEL (HOME SOLICITATION CONTRACTS)

If you sign a contract with Revolt Services at your home, California law gives you the right to cancel without penalty. Under California Civil Code §§1689.5–1689.14 and the FTC Cooling-Off Rule (16 C.F.R. §429):

You may cancel a home solicitation contract within three (3) business days of signing. If you are 65 years of age or older, you have five (5) business days. No work will begin until this cancellation period expires.

If you cancel within the allowed period, we will return any money you paid within 10 business days of receiving your cancellation notice, and any equipment or materials delivered to your property will be removed at our expense.

SMS / TEXT MESSAGING TERMS

Description of SMS Use Cases: By opting in to our SMS program, you consent to receive automated text messages from Revolt Services. We send the following types of messages:

  • Consultation confirmations and reminders
  • Project scheduling notifications
  • Permit and inspection status updates
  • Installation scheduling and crew arrival notifications
  • Permission to Operate (PTO) confirmations
  • SMUD rebate enrollment status updates
  • Promotional messages about seasonal specials or financing options (only if you consent to marketing messages)
  • Customer satisfaction surveys and review requests

Message and Data Rate Disclosure: Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your project stage and interactions with our company, typically 2 to 8 messages per month. Contact your wireless carrier for questions about your text or data plan.

Carrier Liability Disclaimer: Carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless carrier. Revolt Services is not responsible for messages that are not delivered due to carrier issues, network problems, or incorrect phone numbers.

INFORMATION AND ESTIMATES

The information on this website about solar and battery systems, incentives, rebates, and financing is for general informational purposes only. It is not a binding quote or contract. Actual costs, savings, production, and incentive amounts depend on your specific property, usage, credit, utility, and applicable program rules at the time of your installation. Revolt Services is not a tax advisor, financial advisor, or attorney. Nothing on this website constitutes tax, financial, or legal advice. Consult your own CPA, attorney, or financial advisor before making a purchase or financing decision.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Revolt Services, its owner, employees, and subcontractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

COMPLAINTS

If you have a complaint about our work or a contract, see our Complaints and Cancellation page. The Contractors State License Board (CSLB) handles complaints against licensed contractors in California. You can file a complaint at cslb.ca.gov or call 800-321-CSLB (800-321-2752).

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in El Dorado County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
